Issues of focus may include behavioral problems, emotional dysregulation, developmental disorders, trauma-related disorders, sexually harmful behavior, family relationship issues, and mood-related difficulties. Gibault accepts Medicaid and many other major insurances.
Counseling hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-4pm.
Diagnostic and Evaluation Services
Diagnostic and evaluation services offered at Gibault Outpatient Counseling are comprised of comprehensive psychological evaluations, psychosexual risk assessments, clinical assessments, and trauma assessments. A comprehensive psychological evaluation is provided when medically necessary for youth ages 6-18 years old. Psychological evaluations are conducted by a licensed HSPP psychologist or a doctoral psychology intern working under the licensed HSPP psychologist. Gibault utilizes credentialed sexually abusive youth clinicians for the purpose of psychosexual risk assessments. Master’s level licensed or license eligible therapists provide clinical and trauma assessments.
Supervised Visitation
Supervised visitation is a program that collaborates with the courts to provide a safe and structured environment for families in conflict. Referrals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine if Gibault can meet the needs of the family. Visitations may take place on Gibault’s campus or in the community. Paraprofessional staff will assist the family in strengthening the parent-child relationship by teaching positive communication skills, age-appropriate discipline, and healthy boundaries and activities.
