Odyssey House

If you or a loved one are needing recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction, I highly recommend Odyssey House. I personally have been a resident on more than one occasion, as they understand recovery is not always once and done. They loved me when I didn't love myself, I worked the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and learned what it means to be of service to others. For me, there is not another sober living for men like Odyssey House.

Josh and Norm have given me more attention than perhaps I deserved and made me feel welcome. When I had just arrived at Odyssey, I needed a counselor and could not find one that was taking new patients. Through their relationship with the counseling community, they knew a counselor that would fit my needs, and I have been with this person continually since I have been here. I could not have sought or found a place with more support than I have received here. I will always be grateful.

McGivney Health Care Center

I commend McGivney Health Care Center for their professionalism and commitment to truly caring about their residents. I am a volunteer Advocate with CARE, Center for At-Risk Elders agency. I have had seven clients at McGivney since 2017, and they have been treated like family. The lines of communication are always open from the director of nursing down to the CNAs, everyone is there to love and take care of their residents. It is hard to find an environment as patient, knowledgeable, and caring as I have found at McGivney.

Over the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with McGivney Healthcare Center on several projects.  My experience has been nothing short of amazing.  Not only has the administration and staff been professional but the attention to detail and organization has been impeccable.  What impresses me most is the care, love, and commitment that I’ve observed given to the residents of McGivney. When I step into the doors of McGivney, I’m guaranteed to see smiles on faces and hear joyful sounds of laughter and fun.  It’s so gratifying to work with people who also help others live more safer, and more secure lives (Liberty Mutual Creed).
